Planning an event on the coast

Outdoor and waterfront events in Orange County need a little extra planning. Wind, sun and evening chill can affect sound, screens and power. We ask about the setup area, the power you have and the venue’s sound rules before the day, and we bring weather covers and the right gear for the space.

• Sound limits. Many coastal and hotel venues set volume limits or end times. We plan the music around them.
• Daylight. For screens used before sunset, an LED wall stays bright where a projector would wash out.
• Power. Outdoor sites often need a power plan. Tell us what the venue offers and we will work out the rest.
• Load in. Some venues have strict load in times and long walks from parking. We confirm this ahead of time.

Do you charge extra to come to Orange County?

Orange County is part of our regular service area. Your quote will list any travel costs up front, so there are no surprises.

Can you handle a ceremony on the beach and a reception indoors?

Yes. We can set up sound and microphones for the ceremony and a full DJ setup for the reception, even when they are in different spots.

How far ahead should we book?

Three to six months is best for weddings and large events, and earlier for Saturdays from May to October.
